I've been a big fan of Annie Kelly's Flirting With Trouble series—they're all well written, sexy, and fun. Just For Now though? Hands down, my favorite so far. I wasn't expecting that, but holy cats, these books just keep getting better and better!I was sucked in immediately to Rainey and Owen's story. The pacing of this book is very fast, which helps keep things from getting boring—but is also maybe my only minor niggling complaint. The emotional pieces seemed to happen a little more quickly than seemIed natural, or maybe it’s just that they happened before my heart had a chance to catch up. However, balanced against everything that I loved about this book—which was basically everything—it's hardly unforgivable, and my heart did catch up pretty quickly.
Make no mistake, I still felt the emotional impact of this story. There were moments, as the conflict started to reach its resolution that I felt all my hairs stand on end, little jolts of energy shooting around my body, my heart racing as I experienced Rainey and Owen's tension—sexual and otherwise. I love that feeling. I love even more when it can be brought on by nothing more than the written word, the “high” of reading.
Beyond the romance, I also really loved the secondary stories here. There were a couple of tender friendship moments that made me feel all choked up (honestly, there's something about a good "girlfriends" scene that gets me a little weepy), and the relationship between Rainey and her parents struck the same emotional chords. These side stories add a richness to the romance that I sort of wanted to lose myself in. It was just completely rewarding on every level.
I loved Rainey and Owen together. They were scorching hot (dirty talker alert!) and flirty. Their conflict was emotional and angsty, but never left me frustrated or annoyed (at least not with anyone I wasn't meant to feel frustrated or annoyed with). It’s a quick read, but a satisfying and completely lovely romance. I enjoyed every moment of it. ~ 4.5 stars

Owen has some interesting thoughts, “all I could think about for the last hour of my stupid meeting was you,”he’s saying now in my ear, his tongue and teeth coasting over my lobe. “I’d like to bend you over my desk and eff you nice and hard and deep.” I really enjoyed this book, I loved Owen and Rainey I fell in love with that girl she had the biggest heart.
I enjoyed Rainey and Owen when they came together but the story seemed rushed between the two. Owen comes in during a shake up at Rainey's job and even though she enjoyed his looks sparks they didn't really get off to a good start at first! The romance was okish but really did not draw me in. There were some things that I didn't understand where I felt Rainey was too forgiving and Owen was too over the top but overall this story was okay for a good weekend rainy day read.
